Steps:
1. Confirmed device setup
      – Asked the user if they were using a laptop or desktop.
2. Checked monitor connection type
      – Asked if the external monitor was connected via built-in port, HDMI, or DP.
3. Opened Display Settings
      – Navigated to Settings > System > Display on the laptop.
4. Adjusted display mode
      – Clicked on “Extend these displays” from the dropdown menu.
5. Clicked “Detect” to search for external monitor.
6. Advised user to check physical setup
      – Asked the user to ensure the monitor was powered ON.
      – Confirmed the input source on the monitor was set to DP.
      – Instructed the user to replug the DisplayPort cable securely on both the laptop and the monitor.
7. Retried detection
      – After checking the cable and monitor input, clicked “Detect” again.
      – Display was detected successfully (if working).
8. Provided alternative advice (if issue persists)
      – Suggested trying an HDMI cable or another DP cable.
      – Recommended testing with a different monitor if available.
